At the Ireland Active white flag awards ceremony on Friday 11th November The Peace Link came away with two national awards. The White Flag Award and Accessibility award.

The White Flag National Standard is a leisure facility award encompassing Safety, Hygiene, and Customer Engagement & HR Criteria. When a leisure facility achieves white flag status, you know their standards are high and The Peace Link has been rated at GOLD standard.

The Accessibility Award looks at disabled access to a facility, a facilities disability awareness, staff disability training, gym & class environment for disabled users, marketing and Health & Safety for people with disabilities.

This is a fantastic achievement but as Fergal Corrigan (General Manager) states none of this would be possible without the support of the Clones Erne East Community, who have put years of hard work, effort and dedication into making the centre such a success story. The centre is definitely delivering on its core ethos of Building Relationships through Sport, with it being the hub of activity for the wider Clones Erne East area.
