Athletic Track & Infield COVID 19 Control Measures

  • Track is available for group & individual usage
  • Hand sanitizer will be in place on exit and entrances of the facility.
  • Payments will be taken by card at reception.
  • If a group has an account with The Peace Link the session will go on the groups account.
  • The maximum permitted on the Track & Infield including coaches for a group training session must adhere

Athletics Ireland Guidelines.

  • The maximum permitted on the Track & Infield including coaches for a group training session must adhere to Athletics Ireland Guidelines.
  • Groups must provide The Peace Link with their COVID-19 control measures document that they are implementing. This document must adhere to Athletics Ireland guidelines.
  • Groups must ensure all participants in their session have completed a COVID users’ questionnaire (HR0029). If anyone answers “yes” to any of the question in the questionnaire the group will not permit that athlete to take part in the training session. This is to ensure we are preventing the spread of COVID-19 and reducing the potential risk of exposure to our workforce and visitors. In respect of members under 18, this will require full contact details for parents/guardians. This will facilitate contact tracing in the event of a suspected COVID 19 case.
  • Individual’s must complete The Peace Link COVID-19 users’ questionnaire (HR0029).
  • Users should only arrive 10 mins to start time of the session.
  • Athletes must be ready to train as no changing facilities will be provided.
  • Athletics will use the external Toilets; sanitizing equipment will be provided for users to clean the area before and after use.
  • Individual Athletics will enter through the building and check in at reception.
  • Groups will enter by The Peace Link side gate with a representative from the group controlling access. The representative will check the group in at The Peace Link Reception.
  • All coaches and athletes are required to bring their own hand sanitizer for use to each session.
  • Athletes will enter the track by the top track gate beside the athletic sheds and athletes will exit by the bottom track entrance gate beside the 3G.
  • Users will observe Social Distancing gap recommended by the HSE.
  • Signage will be in place to remind users to hand sanitize, to catch coughs and sneezes in tissues – Follow Catch it, Bin it, kill it and to avoid touching face, eyes, nose or mouth with unclean hands.
  • Drink bottles, clothing and equipment should not be shared by Athletes.
  • Athletics will be responsible for the sanitizing off equipment before and after use.
  • Groups must strictly adhere to training times the next group session will be due to start 15 minutes after your session ends and your group will need to have left the track before they enter.
