The Peace Link Sports Facility awarded best Overall fitness centre in Ireland

The Facility Friday 13th is usually an unlucky day but on Friday 13th November 2015 The Peace Link attended the annual Ireland Active white flag awards and came away with the prestigious award of Overall Fitness Centre of the Year for 2016. The White Flag National Standard is a leisure facility award encompassing Safety, Hygiene, Customer Engagement & HR Criteria. When a leisure facility achives white flag status, you know their standards are high and The Peace Link has been rated the best in Ireland.

The Peace Link has something for everyone in the community from little soccer stars for 3-5 year olds to senior fitness for anyone in their golden years. It is the ideal venue for your child’s birthday party or come along for a game of indoor bowls, they cater for it all.

This is a fantastic achievement but as Fermanagh native Fergal Corrigan (General Manager) states none of this would be possible without the support of the Clones Erne East Community, who have put years of hard work, effort and dedication into making the centre such a success story. The centre is definitely delivering on its core ethos of Building Relationships through Sport, with it being the hub for activity in the Fermanagh/Monaghan area.
